Kimo Sounds - Morning Static

Radio whispers through the room
Breaking softly through the blues
I hear your voice inside the noise
Like a memory without a choice
Coffee cooling by the doors
I don't feel the same anymore
The city wakes, the lights turn white and
I disappear into the morning light
Maybe we're just six
Trying to find the same frequency
Maybe all these echoes
Are still a part of me
Morning static
Under my head
All the things we never said, one static
Underneath the sun, something lost, something begun, one static
Cold into the air, I can feel you everywhere
The noises fading and then, learning how to let it out
Every station tells a story
Every sound becomes a warning
Cause somewhere underneath the noise
I can hear my own voice
The morning moves, the traffic grows and
I finally let the feeling go
Maybe silence isn't empty
Maybe silence sets me free
Turn it down
Let it fade
Let the memories lose their shame
