Everyone's chasing something bigger
A louder life, a fuller feet
I used to run that race too until
I asked what

Just enough to live an honest life and a quiet place to rest my feet
There's a kind of free that isn't loud
It's the freedom from always wanting more
Free from comparing what
I have to what somebody show in a dead door
Free from the more
Just enough
And nothing to keep school
I stopped counting what
I don't have
Started noticing what's already mine
A slow morning, a real conversation
A life that doesn't need to shine
Simple was never the same as settling
It's choosing peace over the endless chase
Less noise doesn't mean less living
It just means
I finally have some space
