Kimo Sounds - Take Me Back

I remember knocking on your door.
Running outside till we couldn't anymore.
Simple games under the sun.
Laughing loud till the day was done.
No one rushing, no one scared.
Every little moment we could share.
Streetlights calling us back home.
Missing more than we could want.
Take me back
to the easy days.
Take me back to the simple ways.
Take me back before it all changed.
Take me back,
I need that again.
Now the world moves twice as fast.
Chasing screens instead of the past.
Everyone's close but far away.
Harder now to feel okay.
I still carry both in me.
The simple life and all this speed.
Something's missing, something's gone.
The kind of peace I can't hold on.
Take me back
